In 1993 Womack Army Medical Center received the gift of a Fisher House from Founders Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher.
This Fisher House supports the Fort Bragg, and, Pope Airforce Base communities in their time of need.
The Fort Bragg Fisher House staff and volunteers help provide "a home away from home" that enables family members to be close to a loved at the most stressful time ~ during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
The Fort Bragg Fisher House's Mission is to provide a relaxed, caring atmoshere for our Wounded Warriors returning from combat with diverse injuries.

We provide the soldiers' families, whom are usually distraught with stress and concern for their loved one's recoery, a low-to-no cost residence for them to stay. The House is located within walking distance to Womack Army Medical Center, which cares for all soldiers that are injured or sick returning to Fort Bragg.
